Discus

Discus fish are very laterally compressed and have disc-shaped bodies. They can grow 15–20 cm in total body length and height (approximately 6 to 8 inches; a size similar to the 18–22 cm of an Olympic throwing discus); adults weigh some 150–250 grams (approximately one third to half of a pound).
