This specific epithet refers to its small(mikros=small) eyes(ops=eyes). 161mm or 6.3" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp. Males have a pentagon shaped pregenital scute, females it is more exaggerated into a star shape (i.e. has concave as opposed to straight perimeter).
